All our puppies are wellness checked by a vet. They come with
tails docked, dew claws removed, and all age appropriate shots.
Deposit Information
TAKING DELIVERY OF YOUR PUPPY
Reserving
Your Puppy: We
recommend reserving a puppy early. All deposits are non-refundable.
Unless stated otherwise, actual puppy choice is in the order
that deposits were received. We reserve the right to refuse sale
of our puppies.
Payment: A non-refundable $100
down-payment reserves your puppy.
For your convenience, we accept checks, money orders, or cash.
The balance is due when you pick up your puppy. Please make checks
payable to Lookaway Kennels.
Pick Up At
Lookaway Kennels:
Puppies
may be picked up from us once they turn 8 weeks of age. You'll
receive, shot/worming record, and registration paperwork along
with your puppy. Balance of price is due at time of pick up.We
reserve the right to refuse sale of our puppies.
We are not a "puppy mill," and offer only about two
litters per year if acceptable. We carefully choose our dams
and sires, and feature excellent bloodlines. All litters are
registered with AKC, dew claws removed, tails docked, wormed,
and given age appropriate shots. You will receive a record of
dates and products used & a veterinarian health certificate.
You will receive an AKC puppy registration certificate, which
can be submitted to AKC for individual registration of your pup.
All our German Shorthaired Pointer puppies and gundogs are guaranteed
to be physically healthy at time of delivery. All shots and worming
will be up to date. To validate this policy guarantee you must
take your puppy or dog to your veterinarian within two weeks
of picking up your puppy or dog.
Deposit Policy
We do
not refund deposits on any of our German Shorthaired Pointer
puppies, started dogs, finished dogs, upcoming litters or stud
fees.
1: If you put a deposit on a started dog or finished dog to hold
and decide you want something else, you can transfer the deposit
toward another dog if available.
2: If you pay a deposit on an upcoming litter to hold a puppy
and you decide you do not like one or she happens to lose the
litter for some reason, the deposit will be transferred to another
litter of your choosing.
3: Stud fees are paid in full when you drop off your female along
with a negative veterinarian Brucellosis test. If she is not
bred the first time, you can bring her back a second time. If
she still does not take we recommend having your bitch examined
by a veterinarian.
Guarantee
voided
1: If
you take your gundog from the plane or my facility, right to
the bird field without socializing him.
2: If dogs are improperly handled, trained or abused.
3: Not taking your puppy or dog to your veterinarian within 2
weeks of picking up.
We reserve
the right to refuse sale of our puppies. If at any time you can
not keep your puppy, we will try and help find a new home or
we will take the puppy back (no refunds). All dogs come with
a guarantee of health, and all litters are registered with AKC.
